On August 1^st 2024, the PNAO hosted 40 girls, ages 6 – 12, from the Tulam Turi Girls STEAM Camp. The Camp is a two-week experiential learning opportunity for girls with a focus on fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. The girls were given a tour of the Office where they had the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the PNAO staff and the Compliance Training Workshop participants. The tour ended with refreshments on the fourth floor where the PNAO team, shared with the group how fields in STEAM could contribute and play a major role in maintaining sustainable fishing in the PNA waters so that future generations can also reap the benefits of their ocean.
