The Parties to the Nauru Agreement Office (PNAO) is seeking to hire consultants to provide legal analysis and legal advice on PNA tuna fisheries, including:
a) Providing assistance with legal advice for the Parties to the Nauru Agreement (PNA) with regards to matters relating to the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) and its subsidiary bodies; the regular session of the Commission; and any other legal advice that may be sought from time to time.
b) Providing legal advice relevant to the work of the PNAO.
c) Providing legal advice to the PNA on core governance instruments, specifically the Nauru Agreement, associated Implementing Arrangements, the FSM Arrangement (FSMA), and the Palau Arrangement (PA).
d) Providing legal advice to the PNAO on matters related to regulations and other aspects of corporate governance.
e) Providing legal advice to the PNAO on matters related to commercial activities.
f) Such other tasks as may be agreed between the Consultant and the PNAO CEO.

Key selection criteria
The position is open to anyone, but preference is given to PNA nationals.
